Position Overview:

Here at E360S we have an exciting opportunity as we are looking for Residential Recycling Truck Driver/Loaders to support our new contract we were awarded which starts July 2025! We also have some current positions open where we are seeking immediate hires. The role involves operating Recycling collection vehicles and assisting with the loading and unloading of recycling or yard waste. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate one or more vehicle types with automatic transmission and collect recyclables on collection route. Route may vary based on service needs.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections and reports, daily truck report, route sheets and other documentation requested by supervisor daily.
  • Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor immediately. Operate truck and equipment using prescribed techniques to eliminate driver-induced mechanical failures.
  • Follow all safety standards equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties. Comply with all national, provincial local and company rules on safety and vehicle operation.
  • Maintain clean vehicle by cleaning cab interior and exterior of vehicle.
  • Attend daily safety meeting as per site requirement.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (desired).
  • Valid DZ License
  • Availability to work on a 4-10 schedule (Tuesdays to Fridays)
  • 2-3 years of satisfactory driving experience of DZ or AZ vehicles preferred.
  • Experience driving all types of collection equipment is desired.
  • Satisfactory driving record.
  • Visual requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception , and ability to adjust focus due the contrast maneuvering of vehicle in tight and high traffic areas.
  • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 80 pounds.
  • Position requires 50% labour work and 50% driving.
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Experience in waste industry a contributing asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills
