We are seeking a HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC for repair of our Ready Mix fleet.

Required Qualifications and Skills 
 

• Have a safety mindset and willing to comply with the standards and procedures of our company Policies 
• Must have a valid 310T Truck and Coach or 421 Heavy Duty Technician License 
• Minimum of 2 years heavy truck experience.
• At minimum a valid G Driver’s License with a clean abstract is required but a AZ or DZ is preferred. 
• Must possess own Hand Tools and Tool Box. 
• Hydraulic systems experience asset 
• Must have good written and oral communication skills
• Computer knowledge, creating work orders, utilizing email, is considered an asset 
• Must be organized and willing to exhibit good housekeeping practices in our shop 
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and punctuality is a must 
   

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
 

• Perform inspections, diagnostic tests, troubleshooting and general vehicle repair 
• Perform preventative maintenance services and maintenance related work as required 
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment
• Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Work in compliance with Company Health and Safety policies 
• Keep neat and organized records of services and work
