RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows and ensures full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures. 
• Safety mindset - work safely
• Operation of ready mix truck in a safe and MTO compliant manner 
• Daily Completion of full pre-trip inspections, required paperwork or electronic checkpoints as instructed. 
• Truck pride - clean and maintain the appearance of the unit in cab and exterior. 
• Deliver concrete to customers in a respectful, safe and timely manner. 
• Assist with light maintenance around the plants 
• Communicate positively and problem-solve with your team 
   

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Educational Background: Grade 12 diploma or equivalent 
• Valid DZ drivers license or equivalent 
  ○ A clean driving record 
  ○ Manual transmission in required 
  ○ 3-5 years of experience in the trucking industry preferred 
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and punctuality is a must.

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Must be able to work indoor and outdoor environments in all weather conditions. 
• Availability for shift work required. Flexible hours are required to meet the demands of our customers which include over time and weekends work.
• Able to perform a variety of physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs, stepping up, carrying, climbing, bending, reaching, push/pull, gripping, squatting, climbing ladders etc.
