Employment Information

We are currently seeking AZ Drivers – Highway (Canada and USA) position.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Drives company owned tractor-trailer applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver products or materials, adhering to rules and regulations involved with the safe and legal operations of a tractor trailer.
  • Maneuvers truck and trailer into loading or unloading position, following signals from loading crew as needed on-site and off-site.
  • Maintains driver log, paper or electronic, according to provincial and ministry regulations.
  • Insures loads are secured to trailer wall at all times using load bars.
  • Notifies Fleet Coordinator of any need for maintenance service on the truck.
  • Inspects truck before, during and after trips and reports safety concerns to minimize security risks.
  • Maintains a clean truck inside and out on a daily basis, this includes regular sanitizing, fuel top up, removal of garbage and all personal belongings. *We may assign any truck to another driver in order to keep the truck in service.
  • Ensuring that any safety item that is removed from the driver safety bag is replaced.
  • Reports to work on time and as scheduled.
  • Maintaining a clean driver abstract
  • Positive, professional attitude.
