Employment Information

Position Summary

Primary responsibility is to work as a team driver to safely transport liquid or gaseous cargo, such as chemicals, petroleum, or hazardous materials, to specified destinations. Duties include conducting pre-trip inspections of the tanker vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition, as well as loading and unloading cargo following established safety procedures.

Schedule: 4 days on 4 days off (must be comfortable being on the road for 4 days straight)

What you will do

  • Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations
  • Conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition
  • Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
  • Coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
  • Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.

What You’ll Bring

  • Must have at least 3 years continuous AZ driving experience, and at least 1 year tanker experience
  • Less than High School, but has basic reading, communication, and arithmetic skills to follow direction
  • Valid Class 1/AZ License is required
  • Fast card ( USA)
  • Clean driving record
  • TDG required
  • Forklift
  • In-class training – to obtain Propane license
